This comparison tool reconciles business records instead of comparing row positions. Match on an order number, SKU, customer ID, email, invoice number, or another stable field even when the two files use different row orders or column names.
How to Compare Two Excel or CSV Files
- Upload File A and File B in CSV or XLSX format and choose worksheets when applicable.
- Select the key column for each file and map the fields that should be checked.
- Choose case, whitespace, blank-value, and numeric-tolerance options, then compare and export the differences.
Results and Common Reconciliation Uses
Results separate changed records, records found only in File A, records found only in File B, and matching records. This is useful for reconciling order exports, inventory files, vendor lists, pricing updates, accounting exports, and marketplace reports.
Supported Files, Limits, and Privacy
Each CSV or XLSX file may be up to 15 MB, and worksheets are limited to 50,000 data rows. Duplicate key values are reported and paired by occurrence order, which can make ambiguous records require manual review. Files are read and compared locally and are not uploaded.
