Website project
A customized AmeriCommerce / Cart.com ecommerce site with responsive frontend development, custom catalog navigation, and JavaScript-driven product discovery.

Overview
A heavily customized industrial ecommerce site built on AmeriCommerce / Cart.com, using custom responsive CSS and JavaScript to create a tailored shopping and product-discovery experience across a large technical catalog. Custom work includes responsive layouts, a multi-level product mega menu, and a searchable category browser designed to make deeply nested product categories easier to find.
Project work
Selected features
The challenge was not simply displaying products. The catalog contains many categories and nested subcategories, so customers need efficient ways to discover and reach relevant product sections. A custom mega menu and searchable category browser address that navigation complexity without presenting platform-native ecommerce capabilities as custom work.
Built custom navigation for a large industrial product taxonomy, organizing top-level groups, subcategories, and direct destinations so customers can reach deeper catalog sections with fewer intermediate steps.
Created a custom JavaScript category browser that lets visitors narrow a large category list through a dedicated search interface, reducing manual navigation and improving catalog discovery.
Technology
The ecommerce platform and custom frontend work are separated clearly.
Responsive design
The project presentation pairs desktop and mobile captures so navigation, hierarchy, and content behavior can be reviewed across screen sizes. Real screenshots replace labeled placeholders as project captures are supplied.
